Coach Allocco began his journey in New Providence, NJ
Coach Allocco learned the beauty of sport from his father and three brothers. Gifted athletes in their own right, oldest brother Jerry was an All-State High School basketball and baseball player who played at the collegiate level at Olivet College. Older brother Michael was an All-State Basketball player at Union Catholic High School and turned down several offers to join Coach George Blaney at Stonehill College. Mike earned All-American status at Stonehill and was drafted by the Baltimore Bullets. Younger brother Richard was a three sport All-State performer at New Providence High School who earned Parade All-American status in his senior year. One of the top five running backs in America, he visited Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, and Nebraska before joining his brother Frank at the University of Notre Dame.
